When a school bus is stopped with red lights flashing, stop at least 20 feet away even if the stop arm does not swing out; the only exception is when traveling in the opposite direction on a divided highway. At marked or unmarked crosswalks, stop for pedestrians until they have passed your lane, and never pass a vehicle stopped for a pedestrian.
